Our February theme is on leadership. Women make up nearly half the workforce, yet we see so few of us taking high level executive roles. Whether because of societal barriers, imposter syndrome, or lack of resources, we have a more difficult time growing our careers and shattering the glass ceiling–or repairing the broken rung.
It’s important to empower our community—but to do that effectively, we also must know how to empower ourselves. Sometimes, as women, we don’t always have a clear roadmap for what that might look like. Luckily, our guest today does.
Maureen Kamaishah is the Senior Director of Customer Experience at HelloFresh. She’s a mentor, a natural helper, and a lover of all things CX, tech, and women empowerment. As a leader, she dedicates her time to creating diverse spaces that commit to equitable practices. She believes there’s a fine balance in pushing organizations toward meaningful change and advocating for our own careers, turning all types of experiences into special opportunities.
